fuzzies

I have warm fuzzies this week. Amidst the stress of getting the concert together and pulling a small ensemble piece out of thin air, I was reminded of why I like to sing with the small ensemble: because it's fun. Because we each have this crazy energy that we bounce off each other. Because [livejournal.com profile] prrn is never content to sing what's on the page, and subsequently comes up with a new part. Because [livejournal.com profile] mystikalwomyn is always suggesting a different arrangement, or swapping parts. Because [livejournal.com profile] bobamster doesn't bat an eyelash if I say that I want to sing 1st soprano, as long as she doesn't have to sing alto. Because collectively, with our newer recruits [livejournal.com profile] virginmartyr1 and [livejournal.com profile] sexxyred1 it is the coolest group of people to hang out with and make music.

The heck with concerts, we should randomly meet up and teach each other songs. That'd be a blast.

:o)
It is a pretty awesome group!!!

So next time, let's play mindgames and all sing a part we don't normally sing!

Well, Annie's already singing a low part. ;)

I think we shouldn't bother with music and just make up our own parts. :D

Hey, maybe we should just pick a topic and a key and start singing and see what happens.

OMG! I would be so lost, but it would be loads of fun!

PS - I think we sounded great yesterday!
