There's a lot of politics going on at the company, and while the guy I interviewed with has plans, there are other people way up at his level who have other plans. In essence she told me to keep a low profile and not to pack. It may happen, but not for a while.

It's a letdown but it's also a relief. I may still get a cool offer, but there's a lot of stuff that needs to be sorted out first.
