More layoffs today, this time in marketing which was admittedly a giant bloated behemoth. Can it be much longer before the cuts hit r&d? Methinks not, at this rate.

In other news, I have most of a draft of a new thing. Long ago, I swore never to write a story with science themes and/or metaphors; but lookit what I did. Ah well, eventually I'll fling it up here.
