Sorely tempted

I braved the Particular Hell that is Best Buy this afternoon, in search of minidiscs and the newest Beck cd. Found the former, not the latter and instead purchased Parallel Lines and Chevelle's Wonder What's Next. I'm quite pleased that I was able to replace another Blondie album; slow but steady progress on that front. As far as Chevelle is concerned, I've heard a couple songs and am intrigued enough to buy the cd. This doesn't happen too frequently anymore, but I figured it was a reasonable bet.

The true temptation came when I walked past the section for Bowie. It was stuffed with much of his recent shite, but there were a few gems tucked in the bin. There was a copy of Station to Station, Scary Monsters, and a remastered Aladdin Sane with bonus tracks. I fought against the urge to buy all of them, and was successful. However, had there been a copy of Low or Heroes in that bin, they would've come home with me.
