The missus taped Sunday's episode of Dead Like Me; we watched it last night.
Some thoughts:
Mandy Patinkin is criminally underused on that show. So is Jasmine Guy; Roxy is clearly the coolest character yet to be introduced. Her B plot with the asshole redneck kicked arse. "I can take you cursing at me and disrespecting my vehicle, but do not put your hands on me." Hee!
Mason was not as annoying as he could be, in fact I found his infatuation with Charlotte endearing in a scruffy doped-up kinda way. But clearly Charlotte is meant for George, I don't care what kinda freaky foreshadowing was going on with the Good Professor. Nope, won't believe it. Charlotte luurrrves George; why else would we get such subtexty goodness as "I'm not letting you break up with me" and "We're going to a lesbian bar to drink Jack Daniels and make out with large women." They are so gonna fuck. Oh yes.
Daisy sucks the life and interest out of any scene in which she appears. The lines sound all right; some of her snark to Mason could have been funny if delivered well. Rebecca Gayheart, I miss you so! *sniffle*
