Really. For all the hooderah about it, it really doesn't do much for me. It just makes me feel sluggish and thick. I did manage to get a little bit of sleep this afternoon, which was necessary. I feel a bit better; hopefully there will be more sleep tonight and more feeling better tomorrow. I'm bored with my couch.

The Women's Resource Center at the SD GLBT Center has a writer's group the third Monday of each month. bobamster and I have made a deal to check it out. We both need a kick in the arse, and hopefully this group can provide that. Structure! I need structure!

I'll amuse you if you amuse me first.

I've only been bothered by codeine once. It's morphine that pissed me off. After surgery, I refused to use it after using it once and almost blacking out in an attempt to walk 3 feet to the bathroom hours after I dosed myself. And the bitch nurses wouldn't remove the IV even though the needle was resting across my bone and hurting like a bitch. Hurts? Well use the morphine. *ahem* But this isn't about me. How are you?

I've never had morphine, though Dad has had it lately post-surgeries. I guess it works well enough.

Laughing gas does funny things to a person. I had it when getting my wisdom teeth removed, and serenaded the doc with "Son Be a Dentist" from Little Shop of Horrors. Apparently, I also asked them for my teeth even though I have no memory of it. !

They did give me my teeth. I still have them in the little sterile bag. I really don't know what to do with them, but it seems odd to just throw them away.

I only heard them perform two songs, so I really haven't an opinion of MM yet. On a shallow level, she's kinda purty.
