What is it with me and the purple lately? All my life, purple was just another Kool-Aid flavor. Now alla sudden, my lj must be purple. And not just any purple, a specific purple. Weird. But I'm rolling with it.

And it snowed in parts of Las Vegas yesterday, although not where I live. :( But apparently the driving has been hideous around parts of the valley, so I don't think you'll escape rain by coming here.

It's been snowing in the mountains here, but in the valleys and coastal areas it's been rain rain and more rain. At this point, nearly anything would be preferable.

But yes, let's waste time on this rainy Friday afternoon. First off, the FAQ. (http://www.livejournal.com/support/faq.bml) Oooh, yay. /em pets the FAQ
Next, some LJ-specific html. To link to a journal, the code is < lj user="username" > without the spaces around the brackets. There are also cut tags, in case you want to make a long entry but not display it by default. That text is < lj-cut > ... < /lj-cut > again with the spaces removed.
That should be a start. Let's hope this posts correctly, eh?

purple is good. not bright obnoxious purple as much. but purple gets a big thumbs up. i just realized that i've been into purple lately too..light purple especially. so it's good for tackling anxiety..makes sense. ;)
