Dude, you mean women's bodies are different from mens'?!!?

WHAT??!!! this is crazy talk. *rolls eyes*

I know! Who'd ever think of such a crazy thing?

[identity profile] virginmartyr1.livejournal.com 2005-01-17 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
not the men, that's for sure.

amazing. the idea that all people's bodies will react to anything (disease, meds, whatever) simliarly enough to make it be the norm has never made sense to me. but hey look, the doctor folks are finally maybe starting to realize this. i can't wait until it's actually realistic to think that every person will be treated medically with drugs specifically altered for their own bodies.

Well, that's what we're all working toward. But boy is it hard to get there.

Don't let the PC brigade hear you say that! They'll have you strung up - that's discrimination that is!!!!

[identity profile] biogeekgrrl.livejournal.com 2005-01-18 04:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but on the other hand you have the physicians who thought they could a few tests on men and establish criteria for everyone. If they'd just stopped to think of the mechanics of flow through a tube, they'd realize that slight changes in diameter and length make tremendous changes in rate of flow. It's simple mechanics.

But that's not sexism, that's just stupidity. ;)

It does seem like common sense doesn't it. Alas common sense is something all too often found wanting.

*looks in pants*
*doesn't see winky*
*recalls seeing Corran's winky*

Hypothesis confirmed.

:D

(ain't science fun?)

It IS! Science is neato!

[identity profile] kimberlychapman.livejournal.com 2005-01-18 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Especially the science of fun bits!

*more research needed*
*grins at Corran*
*leap*

:D

(well not really because we have to deal with car crap today, but it's a nice idea...)
