Prepare the way...
We just watched the first part of "Angels in America." I feel battered, bruised, run over by a truck. Very affecting drama with solid performances. Wow.
In other news, we decorated for Christmas this evening. I consider that quite an accomplishment, given the trepidation with which I view the holidays. But we put up the tree and decorated it while listening to the Nutcracker, then strung the extra lights along the living room. I am pleased to report that this makes me feel happy and celebratory.

In past years I've caught them dozing under the tree. I think they enjoy the lights and the enclosed feeling. Our kitties are big saps.

Remind me to tape it for Doug. Who still hasn't watched the Carnivale eps he has. And we have the last two at home for him to watch, too.
If he doesn't get it together, I'm revoking his geek membership card.

Saturday will be fun, festive, and sugar-filled. Yay!
PS sorry I didn't call you back yesterday. There was a whole series of errands, long phone calls, etc. Was the movie good?

no worries. just thought i'd call in case you guys were interested...um, the movie was ok. i was disappointed by the simplicity of it and the lack of explanation regarding some events. it kind of has to be seen i guess though, since we've gotten this far, ya know? it was better than revisted, in my opinion, but i still felt gypped.
