Oh Stacey...

La la la, we're anxiously waiting for you to set up your lj. Not to nag you or anything, because it's so unlike us to do that.

While I'm at it, I will also nudge Doug to get his journal set up. And Lowell, you know you want to start one. Think of all the conversations we could have online. From Star Trek to Ethel Merman to Earl Grey Tea; the possibilities are endless.

I also think [livejournal.com profile] virginmartyr1 needs to give D in LA a code. She needs a journal, too. So sayeth I, so mote it be.

i have given her a code..she has just has yet to set up her very own livejournal. she claims that so many names are taken. i blame the new girlfriend for her lack of displayed effort in setting up and giving daily (or hourly) updates about her life. but my part is done. so sayeth i.

The new girlfriend? Ahhhh. I see. Or, I seeth.

Ah, other priorities. And new girlfriend is way up there on the food chain.

But she should still get her rear in gear. ;)

yes she should...and according to her, she will. taken directly from email sent earlier today by D:

i haven't logged in yet (so many names are taken!) but will for next time.

so it seems that even with the distraction of the new girl, so has sworn up and down (ok, not really so much, but it's much more dramatic) that she will set up her lj account right real soon. that is the most up to the minute info i have.

Excellent! The LJ Recruitment Front will expect continued up-to-the-minute coverage of D's journal status. Well done, Private.

That is all.

but my part is done. so sayeth i.

Well done, grasshopper.

Well, at least I set up mine.

Of course, you may have to put up with my whining until I achieve a better state of mind....

Isn't that why lj exists?

Whining is perfectly acceptable. Heh, gabba gabba we accept you one of us.

Here I be.

I finally managed to get this crack show on the road. Unfortunately they wouldn't send me my confirmation email so I had to go to the help page and get them to send it again. But here I am. Lighting a pipe. Sipping some maple in a paper Dixie cup.

How can I link users like that on my journal? I don't know what I'm doing. If I just type a name, it doesn't link it does it? Is that setting? Lemme try: wafflelips

Nope. Gimme some help, please!!!!

Hey, got any maple for your poor pal here in California? Thanks, that hits the spot.

The FAQ is a very groovy thing. LJ in general is pretty user-friendly. I've even been able to modify my code a bit to customize it, so a computer-savvy gal like yourself should be staging a coup at home in no time.
