Start of week rundown

1. How I spent Labor Day--cleaning out and organizing the closet. No, really. The missus woke up with a bee in her bonnett, and I have learned that the best way to deal with that is to solve the problem post haste. So we did. Massive pile of garbage left the place, as did an equally massive pile of stuff for goodwill. There's like, a zillion square feet of room in there now. Wow.

2. My older sister admitted that she watches Girls in Tight Clothes---er, I mean Charmed too. She has the hots for Cole, apparently. That my no-nonsense sister watches that show for the pretty boy, I watch it for the pretty girls, and neither of us give a fig about the "stories" amuses me to no end. It demonstrates a certain degree of commonality that she and I rarely share. Funny.

3. I was almost asleep on Friday night when a stray bit of Buffy/Faith dialog popped in my head. I was afraid I'd forget it the next day, so I dragged my groggy ass out of bed to scrawl it down. Now I just have to figure out what to do with it.

4. The missus has already started planning our Halloween party. (She takes the holiday *quite* seriously.) It should be loads of fun. :)

I used to watch Charmed, back in the Shannen Doherty days. I think it suffered a true jumping of the shark after Brenda-- er, Prue-- died. Which is too bad, because mmm, Holly Marie Combs.

We don't worry about sharks, or the jumping thereof. We truthfully just watch it 'cause they're cute. It's caused me a bit of turmoil, wondering whether I'm a bad feminist and the like, but I've accepted it. I realized that I used to watch Who's the Boss? for Alyssa Milano; why should Charmed be any different? I'm not proud, but I let it go. *roll eyes*

But you're right. That whole long-lost half sister thing was lame. Blah. And Brenda--er, I mean Prue could totally bring the smackdown on Rose McGowan. Any. Freaking. Day.

As for Holly Marie Combs? Nummy. That eyebrow is tempting.
