If one's major field of study is in the Colleges of Arts & Sciences, and said College allows students to take interdisciplinary coursework for history, sociology, etc credit, then one may accumulate almost enough writing/English credit for a minor. Without realizing it, until one stops at the College advising office to make sure everything is in order for graduation, and the advisor says "Did you mean to minor in English? 'Cause you're really close."

have you ever been to the caribbean? The water is seductive. I'm water phobic, the ocean is a nice concept but kind of scary. Yet some years back there we were at Grand Caymen with me floating on my back in blue, blue, turquoise water.

i feel the same about the ocean...and lakes and whatnot (i'm ok with swimming pools). i love love being by the ocean, but being in it, eep. however, i too think that i would get over this fear to be floating in the water at Grand Caymen *happy sigh*
