Seen on a bumper sticker this morning:

God was my co-pilot, but we crashed in the mountains and I had to eat Him.

Also seen this morning, the new Ford Mustang GT. Niiiice. It looks like a muscle car again, not some plumped up flabby ex-athlete. Clean lines, shape reminiscent of the 70's version. Couldn't tell you how it drives, but it sure cuts a nice figure on the highway.

omg my first car was a 1979 mustang gia, white with a red leather interior! That car rocked! You sat way low with your legs straight in front of you.
My dad had a mid-life crisis and bought it for himself, but after a few weeks of excruciating pain, he bought himself a Lincoln or a buick or something and gave that baby to me!

Oh, so jealous! There's something particularly satisfying about driving that kind of car. Grrrrr!

Am I supposed to be imagining somebody crashed in the mountains living off the holy cum of God?

Or is that the wrong meaning of the phrase 'eat Him' I've picked up on there?

Yeah, it was great... ::sigh::
Now I am not able to afford such things.

Wrong meaning, dear boy. Think cannabalism. The movie Alive.

Ew. Now I must wash my brain with bleach.

I've never been able to afford such things, but I can still appreciate them. :)

Yes you certainly can. You have many talents!

Many talents. Most of them completely useless.

For my next trick. I will recite the pottery development of the Tribandkeramik culture of the North European Plane, circa 4500BP.

Methinks you will enjoy this store (http://www.northernsun.com/). They sell that blurb on a T-shirt with a smiley face that was wiping its mouth with a napkin. They also have gobs of funky liberal bumperstickers. :)

Well. Maybe I deserved it if I had spelt the name of the damned culture right.

*kicks self*

*goes to look it up for his own edification and delight*

Oh that new Mustang is SWEET! Want! I'd let J have that one and I'd take the new Dodge Magnum. Yes it kinda looks like a funeral car, but, you know, a funeral car with an engine that could!!

(These cars are acceptable, right? I mean, they aren't Hummers. I'm okay?)

They are very acceptable, oh yes! I'd take the Mustang, though. Always had a fondness for it. :)
