1. How did you meetwafflelips and whatever other personal things about that meeting you are willing to give me?
We met through mutual friends while we were in school. One of her close friends went to college with one of my close friends; at holidays and breaks we'd all get together to see movies or go dancing. I don't remember our actual first meeting, although I do recall New Year's Eve of '90. The group went to a party at her then-boyfriend's house and I had a moment of "why's she going out with him? She could be with me!" Four years later we were finally on the same page.
The funny thing is, we grew up 5 minutes away from each other. In high school we did a lot of the same things, went to a lot of the same places, but we never met. Funny.
2. What is your dream for the future?
To be happy. To have a house with a porch and a nice swing; to sit on the swing and watch the sun set on a warm summer evening. To always have the people I love near me.
3. What is your biggest fear?
That's easy; suddenly losingwafflelips. Sometimes at night my mind starts wandering through dark and anxious places, and I think of terrible what-ifs. Fear grips me and my heart starts pounding so hard that all I can do is press my head against her shoulder and wait it out.
4. What is your biggest regret (that you are willing to talk about, of course)?
Biggest regret? I dunno, all the girls I never made a pass at, even though I could've? ;) By that, I mean all the time I wasted denying and being ashamed of my feelings. I regret that.
5. How did you get started on lj?
I stalkedmosca over here. I'd read a bunch of her fic and really liked it. I started reading her lj for recs and such, then realized just how nifty the place is. I opened an account, nightxade friended me, and it was all downhill from there. ;)
