1. Timbaland is an amazing producer. He even makes Justin Timberlake sound cool and edgy, and that's no mean feat. I have "Good Foot" stuck in my head, and it's all because of the production. Love the backing beats.

2. Must own Brandy's latest. I've heard most of the tracks on launchcast and I'm really impressed. Very solid from start to finish. Also, I must own Ben Folds' Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner album. I know I've mentioned it before, I'm just reminding myself.

3. [livejournal.com profile] wafflelips gave me Jill Scott's Beautifully Human: Words and Sounds Vol 2 for Christmas! *le sigh* So happy.

4. Must do experiments. Don't wanna. Wanna play. *pout*

5. Anyone know any more about Rilo Kiley? They're playing "Portions for Foxes" on the radio and I kinda like it. Same goes for the Black Keys; "10AM Automatic" kicks my ass in the very best way.

6. Can't put off experiments any longer. *weeps*

3. Glad you are enjoying it.

4. Sorry. I get to screw off today. Just like yesterday. Except better since it's not raining right now. (but the clouds are suggesting that might change).

5. No.

6. Have fun.

Rilo Kiley is becoming a group obsession on my friendslist. They're a fantastic band. Not easy to describe at all, but: female-fronted, very clever lyrics, sort of baroque emo pop. Buy their records.

I can send you secret mp3s via yousendit, if you're interested.

3. Very thoughtful gift. :)

4. I'll try not to be jealous, as I know you'll eventually be back at CBB. But I'm sad that I can't hang out with you.

5. S'okay, [livejournal.com profile] mosca has it covered.

6. Hey, Frenchie and I are going to lunch. That's a nice little perk.

Combining 4 and 6...

Perhaps you need to do more playful experiments. I suggest becoming a mad scientist. You get to have a cool evil laugh and create minions that can wash your dishes for you.

I'd never do that, oh no. And I'd never take grant money from [livejournal.com profile] nightxade to create Evil Mutant Attack Bunnies to further her plan for world domination. Really, anyone who's been telling you otherwise is just lying, LYING I say.

*looks around furtively*

Must get back to the lab.

[livejournal.com profile] nightxade's plan is already in peril, for my World Domination Chocolate Chocolate-Chip Cookies are already well on their way to bringing all to ME. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

*offers you a cookie with a scarcely-hidden manic grin*

Did I mention that I'm not actually a minion of [livejournal.com profile] nightxade's? I'm more of an independent contractor, so to speak. So if you find yourself in need of a little outside work, maybe a little something to add that extra *oompf* to your cookies, give me a call. We'll discuss my fee.

Heeeeee noted. >:D

I think my first job is to acquire an international postal/pacakge service so I can cheaply send all of my LJ friends some cookies. 'Cos I would if not for the expense! Taking over the world is a pricey prospect. That's especially hard when my desire to take it over stems from total greenie liberalism (so I can make the world a happy-happy left-wing liberal paradise for all), which is notoriously underfunded.

Okay, first job may actually be to recruit/kidnap George Soros. Perhaps I should send *him* some cookies.

Muahahahahahahaha.........

Brilliant, but I think you should send some to Rupert Murdoch first.

Hrm...not sure how well that'll work since, when my revolution comes, he's one of the first up against the wall! ;)

But your idea has merit...perhaps I should use Fox Spews first and then destroy it...then again, maybe that'd mean going to the dark side. I must ponder this at great length!

This is why one hires independent contractors. *nods wisely*

Indeed, and you *do* seem a particularly wise one. There, then, it's settled...not only will I contract you when I have suitable funding to do so, but you have also earned a place of high esteem in the new social hierarchy to come. You may even have the title of your choosing, although I am the Chief BQDG (http://kimberlychapman.com/writing/bqdg.html). :D

Very nice manifesto. :) I've only had time to read the first bit, but I'm enjoying it.

As for my title, I'd like to be known as the Diva Princess of Biological Mayhem. Thanks. :)
