The CEO was floating around the lab yesterday; he let slip that everyone should know about the new changes in a day or two. Hah! Someone bring me whiskey! On second thought, fuck that and bring me cough syrup. I want a nice hazy surreal buzz on when I greet the news of layoffs, reorgs, and such.

Shout out to bobamster and prrrn: I'm listening to Rufus Wainwright's Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk and I think our ensemble should do this piece. Maybe not for the winter concert, but certainly at some point. Okay, the text isn't woman-oriented but he's queer! That should count, right? And it'd be fun to sing. And kinda campy. Whaddya think?
