1. [livejournal.com profile] fallencathedral mentioned Better Than Ezra's album How Does Your Garden Grow yesterday. I popped it into the stereo and was reminded how good it is. So long, Alison Foley...

"Pull" is one of my fave songs from that album. The odd thing is, despite the testosteroney sexual grrr vibe, I always imagine Tori Amos singing it instead of Kevin Griffin. Not sure why, other than the lyrics have that strained, slightly psychotic feel you'd expect from Ms. A. And she would sound fabulous singing it; take my word for it. I've heard her sing it countless times in my brain.

2. We watched the remake of Freaky Friday tonight. It is Disney as it should be; funny, sharp, not condescending at all. Plus, Jamie Lee Curtis is hot. There is no getting around that fact.

3. I feel the need to do something physical. I don't know if I want to dance, to fight, or to flail wildly. I just need to move, man.
