Apr. 17th, 2005 08:56 am1. Taste of Hillcrest yesterday was brilliant. A great sunny day for a walk around the neighborhood and a ticket that got us free samples from each of ~40 participating restaurants. So tasty, so fun!
We also bumped into Oddly Hot Robin from work. She was having brunch with her partner, we chatted, I introduced her around. Afterwards Carin told me "She's cute. I didn't expect her to be cute."
"Oh she is cute," I said "it's just that one wouldn't expect her to be hot but she is, oddly so."
2. I have been having the most vivid dreams lately, and they've been sort of Neil Gaiman-esque graphic novel dreams. Last night I dreamt that I could see inside other peoples' dreams, all the good and bad. It built to a climax where I was caught in someone's nightmare; they were dreaming of being chased by some fiend called Mobius and I was the one dodging and running from him. I knew that, for the dreamer it was all fantasy; they couldn't really be hurt. But since I was awake, what would happen to me if I were attacked? Would it be real?
Very neat.
