pointless blathering
May. 16th, 2005 07:34 pm1. Work is totally insane, but this isn't a bad thing. I've figured out how to use a new machine, the protocols for the other machine are nearly finalized, and I have all the reagents in house for my audit. I even got to look up a good refresher on Beer's Law and put it to use. Not so bad.
2. As an addendum to 1: I may be traveling to Maryland in the near future to train some of our manufacturing staff on How to Properly QC Our Products. This fills me neither with dread nor glee.
3. I've been recced a couple of sci-fi novels; they're by an author called Octavia Butler with whom I'm not terribly familiar. After a tiny detour to the library, I have said novels in my possession. Reviews to follow.
4. Things with the breakup are going reasonably well.
5. Things with the new girl are also going well.
6. There is no number 6.
7. Star Wars: Episode III this week!!! Eeeeee!!!
