(no subject)

So. It's the weird lull boring time between Christmas and New Year's Eve, when the lab is running on fumes. Very few people are around, and those that are present aren't being terribly productive. I've done a few experiments; in fact, I just set up something that will take ~1.5 hours to finish. If I were very dedicated, I would stay until the experiment completed and then use the results from that experiment to set up a new experiment.

However, when it comes to this company "dedicated" does not enter my vocabulary. What to do?

My annoying homophobic (evangelical Christian) cousin sent me a Christmas card with a nice note in it. I just sucked it up and wrote a card to her, too.
