sneaking out of work is a good thing

I went to the shore this afternoon and got in a little more trumpet practice. It's a Very Good Thing to play at the shore; I even chatted briefly with a passerby who is also a trumpet player and also fond of playing at the shore. Hee!

I am happy to report that my range isn't quite as bad as I thought. Apparently not being afraid to be *loud* and putting enough air through the horn is important. Huh. Whoda thunk?

Also, I now require lip balm. I'm just saying.

George has a little red rot. Eek, not good for the little guy. New trumpet? Maybe? Plzthxyesokaybye.
