1. For some reason, I no longer own any Dead Milkmen cd's. I very very much need to have the song "Life is Shit" in my collection; does anyone have it?

2. [profile] virginmartyr1 and I were Good Lesbians and saw Indigo Girls last night. I hadn't seen them since I lived in Phoenix. Good show, lots of fun; I was surprised at how many of the lyrics I recall.

3. I've come to the odd realization that I'm a cowboy. Seriously. Don't believe me? Go here, she explains the whole thing. Chaotic good = cowboy = me.

Does this make me Mal? Dude.

4. Dead Milkmen. For me. Please.

You know, we actually did get into the Firefly aspect of it, and how four of the five leads correspond to the five types. (Wash corresponds to the fifth type, familiar to any Shakespeare snob: the Clown. But clowns can have any alignment.) Mal is a Cowboy, Book is a Knight, Jayne is a Pirate, Simon is a Ninja. Morally, at least. I am, unsurprisingly, okay with being morally Jaynelike.

(Wash is certainly the Clown. Oh yes.)

Firefly was the first thing that came to mind when I read that bit in your post. The leads really do seem to lend themselves to that sort of alignment/sorting methodology.

I am, unsurprisingly, okay with being morally Mal-like. As long as I don't have to wear the tightpants.

DUDE! I have no Dead Milkmen on CD either, only on vinyl. This should be remedied!
