Woke up this morning with a wicked headache that isn't shifting. I'm hoping it's just a spot of dehydration from the heat yesterday. I drank a lot of water, but maybe not enough.

There's also fetid internet dramacakes going on, which I'm working very hard to stay out of.

I have a cold. We've had a heat wave here for the past month. It's currently the hottest week of the year for heaven's sake, and I have a blocked nose, a temperature and am sneezing everywhere. Oh joy!

I'm not doing too badly. Went to bed last night with what felt like the beginnings of a migraine...turned out to be a wicked sinus headache. Took two Tylenol PMs and a Sudafed, and woke up this morning forgetting what day it was, and panicked that I woke up late for work. Then I remembered that I have today off. So #1, no headache and #2 no work...make today a good one!

I am fine. It is a little hot over here, and everyone in my office is sweltering and bored. I am extraspecially bored, but then I always get like that at work!

Good, except for some allergy ickiness. It's been unusually humid the last week and it's playing havoc with my sinuses.

Tonight is the tech rehearsal for the big joint Pride concert tomorrow. Busy me!

Dehydration headaches can be wicked. Make sure you keep your electrolytes in balance, it should help.

Avoid. Dramacakes. At. All. Costs. Blech!

I will, thanks! I called in to see whether I'm still scheduled for the floor, and I don't have to go in until 11am (yippee!) and I have an orientee I can make do at least half of the work! ::snicker:: So it's become an even better day!

Oh, I do, all the time!

I worked with a nurse whose sinuses were so clogged and tightly packed with goobers that she had to have an outpatient procedure to laser the gunk out of them. ::squick:: As long as Sudafed comes to my rescue, I think I could live without having that done!

Quickest way is to have a sports drink, or Pedialyte if you don't care for so much sugar.

Oh that's gross! Tracie had regular surgery on her sinuses a couple of years ago and it was nasty. I almost passed out when they took the packing out of her nose.

i'm doing okay, I just cooked a good dinner and now i'm prodding the girl to get applications for anthropology school.

Tomorrow i'm going to the farmers market in the morning.
