quesarahI just picked up the re-release of Short Sharp Shocked. I had it on cassette way back in the day; I'm pretty sure I wore the thing plumb out. The album (and much of Michelle's early catalog) was out of print for roughly 10 years. Imagine my glee to see a brand-new, remastered CD with a whole extra disc of bonus material.
On the way home, I listened to "Black Widow" and that hammered dulcimer sounded so sweet and clear that I almost cried. It feels like welcoming home an old friend.
