In less sarcastic music commentary, I am smitten with Punkrocker by the Teddybears featuring Iggy Pop. (Oh please, if you know me this should be no surprise. Iggy could sing the alphabet song and I'd be smitten.) The synth line gets under my skin and writhes down my spinal cord, until I'm flailing around the room and singing "I listen to the music with no fear. You can hear it too if you're sincere." It's just so...punk rock Great Pumpkin or something, man. I am hooked.
Lastly, are any locals going to see Neko Case at the Belly Up on the 18th? I'd love to go, but it ain't happening. If you're going, bring me along in spirit. kthx.
