I am now IMing with my 15 year-old nephew. Up until last weekend, I hadn't spoken to him in almost 4 years. We're discussing Halo 2.

Weird.

ETA: we are now discussing his evil English teacher and the pop quiz he took today. It's like I'm involved in his life or some junk. (everybody say it with me now) Weird.

ETA 2: Now my brother is on. For the second time in as many days, I'm having a conversation with my brother. I'm hallucinating. I must be.

the other day my Evil Brother Of Doom^TM called me from out of the blue and I almost crashed the car from the utter surprise. What was more shocking is he seemingly did not want anything, but was just calling to say hello. Then a few days later the other shoe fell and he called to ask me if his 4 year old son needs to start learning to read and write English because he is "such a genius omg". Yup, you guessed it, I am an English teacher and I was supposed to say "suuuureeeeeeee brother of mine who tormented me throughout our whole childhood and has nothing to do with me unless he wants something, I will be ever so happy to teach your son English. It does not matter if that means I will not be able to teach a paying student because your son is here. It also does not matter that you are a rich IT manager for a large company (who will not even give me advice about my computer, let alone fix it) and I am a poorly paid teacher trying to support two kids on this sucky salary by supplementing it with private lessons. Sure, Bring him over."
We won't even get into the fact that the kid is only 4 years old and does not even know how to read and write Hebrew yet.

I think this has turned into a post.
