Ah Serendipity!

I'm in kind of a weird mood this evening. The universe appears to be paying attention, since the first song I heard upon starting my launch radio was "The Dreaming" by Kate Bush. Brilliant!
Oh, speaking of which: hey
bobamster can I get my cd's back? Thanks.
No surfing this weekend, instead there was much needed Time with The Girl. w00t. We had some dinner, we saw Sideways which featured Sandra Oh (aka my psychic twin) and a killer performance by Paul Giammati. As good as they both were, Virginia Madsen stole the show and my heart. If I were to actually meet her character, I'd propose immediately. *le swoon*
Weird vibe at rehearsal tonight; funky power struggles between director and president. Unusual and unwelcome. However, we're once again doing two of my favorite pieces: Miss Celie's Blues and Sisters. Brilliant.
And following the breadcrumb trail that is my train of thought, I am completely consumed by this song by Reeve Oliver. It's a piece of sugary pop brilliance, completely singable, not too sappy, with just enough wry self-awareness to ward off insulin shock. And they're local to San Diego. w00t!

Date: 2004-12-20 05:43 am (UTC)It was. And just as fun was Chris' confused reaction to my reaction. "So, do you like it or are you being sarcastic??"
