Veronica Mars is cool.
So there's some funky cuts and editing, and a few neat 'n tidy endings. But there's also interesting characters, compelling intrigue, and cool actors. (Bayliss! Bayliss is on this show!) Next week I'll watch it again and I will continue to think about where exactly in San Diego county it's supposedly set, I will squee at the footage of Oceanside, and I'll wonder what exactly happened to Lilly Kane.
mosca,
distraction77; thanks for the suggestion. I owe you kids a beer.

Date: 2004-10-07 11:24 am (UTC)I'll be interested to see how the show develops. The last scene of the episode I just watched was great; it threw everything Veronica thought she knew about Lilly's death out the window, aligned her more closely with her father, and threw a cloud of suspicion over the Kane family. Love it.
And her best friend is so pretty with his scruffy natural hair and his witty repartee. And then thre's Weevil who loves his grandma even more than he loves his bike. I like him already.
