Weekend Update

Minus Tina Fey.
Concert was sparsely attended, but excellently executed. If I do say so myself. ;) There has to be a way to network with other musicians -- not simply other choruses -- and build cooperation within the San Diego music community. Just have to figure out how.
Saturday night out with The Work Gays was supah dupah fun! It's nice to have non-chorus friends; that they're non-chorus lesbian friends is even better. Plus, they're just cool. I'm so happy we went.
ETA:
This weekend was the Anne Hathaway Marathon at Chez C. We watched Princess Diaries 2, and Ella Enchanted. PD 2 was okay, cutesy fun. Mostly it made me happy to see all the Boy Pretty, (Callum Blue, whee!) and sad because Julie Andrews really can't sing anymore. *sniffle*
Ella Enchanted was big campy Bollywood-style fun -- complete with Jimi Mistry, doooode. He makes everything gayer. I have the Jimi Mistry lurve. More Jimi Mistry, I say! Cast Jimi Mistry in a movie with Brad Pitt and watch Brad seem swishy. Or better yet, cast him as Matt Damon's love interest. They'd be all so cute together. For really.
Plus extra bonus features including: Seventies-era soundtrack! Elves practicing law! Joanna Lumley! Parminder Nagra once again bringing the lesbionical subtext! Two thumbs up, go rent it today.
No car yet. Soon, I hope. *eeeee*
