quesarahI have a sinus headache. I have a ton of work. A friend invited me to play hooky today. I can't for life of me figure out why I said no. I'm such a dork sometimes...
On another topic, Angel wasn't so bad last night.
Yeah the partial nudity and graphic images were overrated, and I'm sure we're in for more of the All-Spike All-the-time Show. But Fred and Spike have potential to be fun. They definitely play well off each other; there's a sense the characters have a growing respect for each other even though they're fully aware of each other's shortcomings. This is nice. Why is it that women always bring out the best in Spike? Oh yeah, it's because he's a Momma's Boy. Hee.
I'm loving the Suit!Gunn. He is on the way to becoming my favorite part of the show. Bring it on, Big Daddy! But the exchage of the night is as follows:
Spike: I never liked you, Liam. Even when we were both evil.
Angel: I liked you less. *pause* There was one thing about you. I never told anyone. *pause* Your poems. I liked your poems.
Spike: You like Barry Manilow.
*giddy*
