People who smoke crack

The first line of a piece published on Salon.com today: "Star Trek" fans will have a new reason to sigh in relief on Wednesday night as "Enterprise" returns for its third season."
Huh?
I'll admit that the premise is interesting; how Earth went from being the Ozarks of the galaxy into being a Federation superpower. I just wish the characters were interesting. Barring that, I wish they were portrayed by actors who didn't make me want to hurl a wildebeast at my tv while I howl in frustration. The dog remains my favorite character.
2. Bill Fitzhugh (in the good way)
From Heart Seizure:
" 'Cars fuming and still. Stretched as fas as the eye can see. There goes the ozone.'
Rodgers turned and looked at his partner. 'The hell is that?'
'Haiku, motherfucker.' "
Exchanges like that, plus the fact that the two CIA operatives are Agents Rodgers and Hart crack me up. I'm loving it so far.
