My brain is funny when it's not completely conscious

Last night as I was drifting off to sleep, I realized what a travesty it is that I don't have any Six Feet Under icons. In particular, I need to get one of Ruth from the eppy where she's on a camping trip tripping on Ecstasy. I should also have one of Claire in all her redheaded snarky goodness. Because I am Claire. Okay, so I'm actually Claire 15 years later, or she's me 15 years ago; but you get the point. Right? Claire = yay!

Then just as I was about to fall asleep, I also thought that I should get an icon made of Jack Lemmon in drag from Some Like it Hot, with the quote "Mostly I just slap it!" Heh.

New Meshell album

I just got news that Meshell Ndegeocello's new album Comfort Woman is set for release on Oct. 14, 2003. You can pre-order through Amazon.com.

I saw her this summer, and the show was great. Her trademark deep soul showed more reggae and psychedelic influences than in the past, providing some great intimate music. She's a phenomenal musician, period. I recommend you check it out.
