It's a good day for science.

It's sort of Monday

I played hooky yesterday. The weekend was very busy and very social with lots of new people, which while fun was exhausting. I needed to recharge my batteries, so to speak. So instead of heading into lab, I went for a hike at Mission Trails Park. Lovely day for it, blue sky, good sun, not too hot. It was the first time I'd gone but it certainly won't be the last. There are a lot of good day hikes and one really good running trail.

I brought my camera with me and took some photos. First time I'd done that in a while. Whee! I just have a little point & shoot which has been fine for the most part. But yesterday I wished I had a better camera to get a couple of shots. Then I remembered that bobamster offered to let me use her film camera and that made me happy.

The theme for this week is Remain Open to Life. Don't shut off from experiences, feelings, creative impulses even if it's difficult. So. Yeah.
