quesarahI had a really weird dream this weekend. In it, I was getting ready for a big Halloween party and putting a lot of effort into my costume. I wanted to wear something really original and interesting, and I spent much time in second hand shops. I found baby-doll dress with red vertical stripes and a pair of mary janes, did my hair in ringlets. Then I did my makeup to look like I'd been beaten or abused. I came out into my parents' kitchen to show off my outfit before the party, and spoke in a high-pitched little girl voice about how I "got lost in the woods and something bad happened." My brother turned his head away and his eyes filled with tears. I felt guilty for upsetting him so I went back to my room and changed my makeup so that instead of looking like a victim of a violent crime, I was now a "demon child" with glowing red eyes and blood dripping from the corner of my mouth. Somehow, that was easier for my brother to see and I went out to the party.
Weird. In the realm of chick stuff, my periods have been really weird the last couple of months. Last month I had two of 'em, and this month I had PMS from 28 days after my first period from last month until ~30 days after my second period from last month. I still haven't really had a period yet and let me tell you, my body is sick and tired of this crap. Anyone have any advice?
No tv updates this week, haven't watched anything yet. Okay, I caught Friday's BSG and I love how screwed Tigh is. He is such a trainwreck. Wow. Interesting character.
C and I watched our friends walk in the Komen 3-Day Walk this weekend. It was a very emotional experience, from witnessing all these people whose lives have been directly affected by breast cancer to watching exhausted, hurting walkers finish up the last stretch of day 3. Wow.
