a post is a post, of coast of coast
Dec. 27th, 2005 10:08 pmA few recs, for the sake thereof:
1. A Gift of Ordinary Magic by
liz_marcs. I'm not usually a fan of Xander-centric fic, nor really of the idea of BtVS/HP crossovers, but this story works.
2. Silent Alarm by Bloc Party. I still haven't been able to pin down who they remind me of, or which late 80's early 90's band is their biggest influence. But I think that's a good thing.
3. Which is not a rec, but once I get rolling on the numbered lists it's hell to stop. What was I saying? Oh yeah, I'm going to Disneyland on New Year's Day! I've never been, so this seems a strange and important milestone in my life. To buy ears or not?

Date: 2005-12-28 07:17 am (UTC)Also? You should feel free to consult me if you have any questions/concerns about D-land. Parking, good places to eat, long lines, etc. The fact is that you'll probably buy your ticket from my mom, get it taken from my Aunt Mary, get a locker from my best friend from high school, and be waited on by my brother at dinner. Disneyland is sort of the family business.

my current anticipated plan of attack is to get there before the park opens (duh), we already have our ticket purchased (which means we may not meet your mom. bummer. my ex picked them up from the base- with the grand military discount of $5/ticket. d-land doesn't like discounts near the holidays apparently), so we'll zip right in, hit space mountin, matterhorn, indiana jones, pirates, and then big thunder. (oh yeah and somewhere in there get a locker, since we'll be in the park allll day. not risking leaving for a bit and not getting back in).
thoughts, suggestions, ideas? and also what is the best store to buy pretty pretty princess crowns?
