I finally gave up on Tarzan. Not even Lucy Lawless can maintain my interest in a show with leads that awful. Quick, give her a new series and be done with this dreck.

I watched Charmed and my disdain for Paige grew to outright hate. What a selfish, self-centered, codependent piece of shit! "I knew that no matter how pissed off they were, they'd come to the underworld and save me." Substitute "crackhouse" for "underworld" and see how that sounds, eh? Not to mention, Rose McGowan needs some damned acting lessons. Her chirpy little line readings are driving me up the friggin' wall. *smack*

God help me, I started watching Carnivale again. It still makes no sense, but now I at least know enough about the characters to care what happens to them. That darn Clea Duvall is bringing the HoYAY! with one of the girls, which only makes me want to watch it more. But really, it's all about Clancy Brown. Brother Justin is getting creepier by the episode but I really like him. *sigh* I'm hopeless.

Yeah, Tarzan is pretty sucky.

I'm certainly not liking Paige much either. Rose really needs to get some acting lessons. She's been on the show for a bit now, by now you think she would've found her groove or something. And who is picking her outfits? They are horrific. Remember that horrible red (or was it pink) sweater with the ruffles? Yucko. But I'm loving Piper. As hot as I think Alyssa Milano is, Holly is my favorite. I think she might qualify as a tv girlfriend. ;-)

As for Carnivale, just try not to think about it too much and just enjoy the ride.

Ouch!

I fear your flaming Paige-hate. :/

No fear is necessary. The thing is, I don't mind the whole "I want to have my own life not just be a Charmed One" story. In fact, I really liked it the first season when it was Piper's. (little sarcasm) But the way the episode was written, Paige wasn't being independent. She was being really selfish. And for a character who's supposed to be so sensitive to others and want to help them, that's too much hypocrisy for me. I just wish they'd let Piper call her on it. Maybe they will later on this season.

Like they called Phoebe on some of her stuff? I dunno, sometimes they skip over. Mind, they seem to be dealing with the fallout of the Seer's ovulating chocolate so maybe there's hope after all?

It's just weird that the older sisters were trying to assert a normal life outside of being Charmed One, while Paige is trying to be some superwitch outside of being a Charmed One. If it's a Whitelighter thing, I don't know why she needs charges. She pretty much has the whole world of innocents to protect. Overachieve much?
