I had a cool dream the other night, a fun superhero dream in which I was fighting some Big Nasty Monster. We had an exchange of blows in which I gained the upper hand. It leapt into the air and flew away, at which point I thought "not so fast, you're not getting away from me. I just need wings." ::zooop:: A huge pair of leathery black wings immediately grew from my back. I unfurled them, experimentally, then with a great flap I propelled myself into the air.

Yes, someone watched Underworld: Evolution recently. It was still a fun dream. :)

Pride concert is over, THANK THE DEITY OF YOUR CHOICE. Now the craziness of that can be superceded by the craziness of packing our remaining belongings and preparing for the trip to Ohio.

Arguably, yes. And I don't draw any great parallels.

But it sure did feel good to have those wings explode from my back.

Yeah, it felt good to think something and make it so. Then to feel them grow out and unfurl, and the big whump of air as I took off, was invigorating.

Yes. Very yes.And the sensation of stretching a body part that, you don't have, but, could really really feel.
