Ah Bruce Campbell, he's still got it. I watched Bubba Ho-tep the other night. Haven't laughed as much in years, he was brilliant as elderly Elvis. I still have love for Ash though.

And they are making a prequel apparently involving Elvis and vampires. The mind boggles!

Looks a little different. Elvis and lesbian vampires, now I don't think even I have seen that combination in a movie.

judging by these comments, i think you would love the 2nd book in robert rankin's armageddon series, they came and ate us : armageddonII - the B-movie (sequel the armageddon - the musical !!).
this book has the distinction of having a sub-plot involving elvis presley joining forces with an intelligent, time-travelling brussels sprout - a role pretty much screaming for bruce campbell to play it in the movie, should anyone ever be stupid enough to try and make it...

This past weekend, I took a short break out on the patio off of the assisted living wing, which is bordered by some woods. Out came a doe with a mostly grown fawn.

All I could think was, "Damn...why don't we ever see 'em like this when it's hunting season??"

There's also a wild turkey mom with her almost grown brood that follows her around...ditto with the hunting season thought.

Sounds like a tough work situation all around. *hugs*

One thing though; please don't use that kind of language (the "n-word") in my journal. I don't use it, I don't like it, and I'd rather not have it in a place that's supposed to be representative of who I am. I might joke around and call myself a "big old dyke" or a cracker, but I'd never direct that kind of language toward someone else. Thanks.

I apologize, I did not mean to offend anyone. I should have used the phrase 'I see all kinds of wild animals from my window'.

LOL! Working at your job is like a safari, does that make you Steve Irwin?
