Likely. My primary care doc is on vacation, so I saw another member of her group. Dr. J-- a very thorough, intelligent doctor -- is just as baffled by my symptoms as my doc was three months ago. She sent me to have an abdominal CT to rule out appendicitis.

So that's ruled out.

is this a womanly workings problem?

have you looked into getting a d&c. i know they're god-awful, but when women get all problems, sometimes a damn good clean out works. just a suggestion.

and if it's not womanly working problems, please ignore this off-topic advice. :D

I hadn't thought of that. I guess first we have to press forward to make them certain it's GYN only. Then maybe that'd be a good idea.

i know lots of women who've gotten to their late 20s through their 40s who get all sorts of problems, like recurring cysts, really heavy periods, really painful periods, non-stop periods, etc. it seems, each time, that a d&c clears it all up. i think it may work sort of like a colonic haha, clearing out all the crap that builds up in there from years of use. ;)

definitely worth keeping in mind.

*hugs*

For endometriosis, they'll do a laparoscopic procedure to remove all the bits of endo from the lining. It's supposed to help with the symptoms.

*does very brief research on endometriosis*

ah ha. yes, a d&c wouldn't help with that. is that what they think is wrong with you then? whatever it is, i hope that it gets put right real quick so that you're all up and running perfect. :)

The docs don't know really what's going on; as time goes on I'm more and more certain it's endometriosis.

Thanks for the good wishes. :)

Isn't there some type of pain killer that you can take? I would be begging and pleading with my Doctor to give me something/anything!

I really hope you're feeling better very soon!

The good thing about the other doc I saw yesterday? DRUGS. Percocet plus a muscle relaxer just in case.

Long-dragged out health issues. I thought they were getting better, but I had a relapse this week.
