Gacked from waffllelips
Dec. 9th, 2003 01:37 pmMy Top Ten Sexiest Musicians, five male and five female in no particular order.
Women
1. Aaliyah. That smooth beautiful voice, that body, those moves. Her sex appeal was special. She wasn't dirty or nasty, but she didn't seem untouchable either. She was simply a woman, a sexual being, and her sexuality was another beautiful facet of her.
2. Sade. *melt* A strawberries and champagne, wear you out all night long kinda woman. Sensual and amazing.
3. Sarah McLachlan makes me swoon. Intelligent, articulate, passionate, with a heavenly voice full of emotion.
4. Shirley Manson. Can't help it, ScarySexy works for me. Heh.
5. Siouxsie Sioux. What? A former Goth girl can't still have a crush? She's beautiful and has a voice that makes you listen, dammit.
Honorable mention goes to Jill Scott. Beautiful, talented singer and the line "Mama gon' give you want you want, honey" from Gimme does it to me every time I hear it. Aw yeah.
Men
1. D'Angelo. Dude, have you seen the video for "Untitled?" Mercy.
2. Scott Weiland. Slithery slinky androgynous man. Sexxxxxy.
3. Maxwell 'cause his voice is so schmoooov. His cover of Kate Bush's "This Woman's Work" blows me away, and not just because it's in the original key. It's a beautiful piece of music, full of regret and longing and love.
4. Justin Timberlake. Hey, don't bust my chops! Now that curlytop is growing up and not trying to be so CUTE all the time, he ain't bad. He sings and moves well and looks like he's enjoying himself. "Rock Your Body" was my guilty pleasure this summer.
5. Chico Morales from Deftones. I can't quite explain it, other than say he's an intense and passionate musician. Sometimes that's all it takes.
