What concert was your favourite?
Iggy was awesome. So were the Indigo Girls. Cowboy Junkies fucking grooved.

What was the most disappointing concert?
The big festival show with INXS et al. It was in JKF stadium in DC. I swore off big festival shows after that. Small venues only, please.
Also, The Who sucked.

What big name did you see in a small venue?
Sarah McLachlan, I guess. I don't usually see big names or go to big venues.

Have you ever had front row seats?
No, but I've been squeezed up against the stage a lot.

Have you ever gone to a concert with someone just so they would get to go, even if you didn't like or know the performer's music?
Freedy Johnston and Widespread Panic. I don't care for either of them, but went with my friend Chris.

How were the Barenaked Ladies? Sometimes they play small venues here but they have a big concert coming up at the Air Canada Centre (the home of the Raptors and Leafs). My friends usually go to see them and say they are so funny and talented. I enjoy a lot of their music, actually.

I saw Bonnie Raitt perform on the Ellen DeGeneres show. She was great!

I'm mostly into big name folks, I guess. I am usually stuck with big venues but small venues rock.

I hate lawn seats the most because it's a mad dash for a good spot and people can be rude, obnoxious and stupid.

BNL were funny and entertaining. They played a small-to-middle sized venue when I saw them.

Bonnie was good but Lyle was better. He has the most amazing band and backup singers. They're just awesome.

If I'm going to an outdoor amphitheater, usually the sound is good enough that I don't worry about where I'm sitting on the lawn. I just worry about the weather.

Never really listened to Lyle's music. I suppose maybe I should try it out one day.

Sure, the sound is great no matter what but when you're seeing a show like Janet Jackson's or someone with a lot of dancers and different sets, you really want to be able to see the stage clearly. I like being close because you feel like the person could be looking at you and singing right to you. But if I'm further back then I like to be centre and not too far back so that I can see the stage well. Thankfully the big screens help you see the facial expressions which I find I watch just as much as the stage itself.

The types of musicians I see don't usually have dancers etc. I just want the band to be mixed well, sit back, and enjoy.
