You should all go read this color commentary on the Golden Globes broadcast. My very very super favorite quote is "How can you not love Sofia Coppola, all sweet and shy in her flat, flat shoes?" Because it's true!
Sweet shy Sofia was wearing some flat flat shoes. And she was darling. *squeal*

Oops, do I spy another straight girl crush forming? Hrrrrm. Move over, Teresa Strasser; you've been replaced.

while the bits about Sofia Coppola are cute and wonderful (i didn't even notice her flat, flat shoes. am i fired?), my favorite line of the whole article is "Whoa! Not only is Boobs Out the new black, but joking about Boobs Out is the new gay."

Yes, "joking about Boobs Out is the new gay" was my second very very favorite quote. It helps that it refers to Mary Louise Parker (and for the record, I'd like to thank her infant son for making her boobs look so good in that dress, too. Hell-O!) who is super groovy and talented.

Yes, I was crushing on Teresa in a major way. I didn't realize it until we were talking with some friends about WYWO. They remembered rooms, home owners, the names of the designers.... I knew nothing except for Teresa. "Ooh, that was the time she said this!" "Oh yeah, and she was wearing that." Totally. Crushing.

Paige kinda gets on my nerves. Andrew, on the other hand, is a beautiful man. Gorgeous.

I have to admit that I like Evan better simply because he is actually far more useful than Teresa. As a Home Owner To Be (she says with all sorts of pomp and circumstance), I'm more interested in these shows for their improvement value.

I don't know why my friend likes Paige. He has weird taste. She is extremely annoying. As are many of the designers on that show. I miss Vern Yip. He was the only one I liked.

And Andrew? It's not just his beauty, it's also that lovely, fun loving, super relaxed way he handles the world. He could build my shelves any day (and by that, I actually mean he could build my shelves. No really).

Mindy Paige Davis Page (this is seriously her full name) annoyed me too :) And I concurr that Vern was the only designer who would come near my house. If Hildy approached, I'd chase after her with a heavy object and see how fast she could run in those heels.

Oh my GAWD HIldy is AWFUL!! It's not even funny! Did you see the one where she painted a dining room all black and made the table bright yellow? The couple hated it, but I'm guessing they have to live with it or fix it themselves. I can't believe people permit her to do their houses. A designer is not very good if she doesn't take into account the tastes of her client and the design of the rest of the house.
