True. As would Geoff Tate, Chris Cornell, Pat Benatar, and depending on how you defined the genre, maybe even Thom Yorke.
For some reason I am unable to define, Maynard and Chino just get to me. Viscerally. Pow. And so they are my favorites.

Yeah, apart from that. He's done some cool things with his voice, stretching his range and the kind of sound he gets from it. As someone who sings, I appreciate how difficult that can be.
