Jonatha Brooke last night. ::sigh::

virginmartyr1 and I went to the show; she'd never seen JBro and was in for a treat. The band was in fine form; Geoffrey is just the god of electric guitar. I love how, in the middle of what could be a fairly typical Lillith Fair chick with a guitar tune, he'll play some fat feedbacky rock guitar riff and it complements the song perfectly, highlighting the raw passion abiding in those eloquent lyrics. Maybe that's due to Jonatha's songwriting; her songs are certainly well-crafted and rocking. I like to think that it's the combination of the musicians. At any rate, I loved it. For such a tiny thing, she has a big ass voice and she isn't afraid to use it. Grrr.

Also? She's hot. Really hot. Unless you're virginmartyr1, in which case she's not hot at all, nope, nuh uh, just a nice lady with a guitar, don't think about the dimples or the flirty smile or the tiny muscular arms. Nope. Not hot at all.

yeah, ok i tried that. but i've abandoned that line of thinking because her hotness overpowered it. so i will bast in being so close to jbro and her hotness. it should sustain me for at least another few days (and by sustain i mean add to my already increasing sexual frustration)

Truthfully, she's been waiting in my garage since last night, pestering me to ask you if she can move in with you. I told her she was being a little forward, but she would hear none of that. She'll be so happy to hear your decision. In fact hey! Is that her knocking at your door right now?
