By the way did you ever hear about Ashcroft and the naked statue? Apparently there was this naked from the waist up statue of "Justice" in the Justice dept. It had been there for ever and when he took charge in '01 he had a floor to ceiling curtain put over it.

It's not the same, yet it is in the same neighborhood as the taliban blowing up ancient Buhddha statues.

I hear you on that. The man can't tolerate a statue in the classic form that shows a woman's breasts. Does he have such a dislike for them? What gives?

On a more serious note, I don't trust anyone with the laws of this nation who's so concerned with "obscenity."
