Yeah, this morning I had a massage appointment so this stuff was on my mind. But my massage guy says that mostly I'm doing a good job keeping everything from getting too tight. I figure it's important because if you're too tight you're more likely to get seriously fucked up if you get whomped. Especially if you're trying to learn to surf at our advanced age. ;)

I have a sweet, sweet bruise on my forearm, courtesy of one longboard fin + one big wave.

Flexibility is key, yo. I need to work on my lower body, my calves are a little cranky with me today. Next thing you know, my rheumatism will be acting up, I'll run out of Metamucil, and my Depends won't fit under my board shorts. It's tough being part of the geriatric set. ;)

Yeah, that's not so safe. I usually exit the water a few minutes before the lifeguards "strongly advise" everyone to get out. And there are *always always always* people still in the water even at that time!
