I think you need to set the layer to the layout scheme, i.e. colour scheme you want it to before you create it. That way it should stay in the scheme you want it rather than the default.

Does that make sense?

This proves my point that I'm not stupid and that I CAN read. My second comment "I hope everything is OK!" Never got on there. It was never meant as snarky. I'm not that type of person.

Incidentally, geejit defriended me while I was off being ceramics person, and when I started reading again I tried to comment on a nice poem but got rejected as a non-friend, so I defriended back, but if you want to re-add me, you can. Up to you. I am reading now...as long as our server doesn't 'splode its power supply again!

You should be able to comment now, the settings have been altered so that all registered users can comment. I don't think any actual people are friends, just a couple of communities.
